With the rise in social media adoption, many businesses and organizations have forcibly invoked regulations around company computer usage and access to social networks.  The unfortunate thing however, is that many business leaders and HR departments have felt the need to act quickly, making it difficult to find the time to come up with social media workplace policies that set them up for success.
As many businesses have been able to use social media to their benefit, in managing company reputation, addressing customer complaints ‘tout de suite’ and of course spreading the word on great late breaking news and events, it becomes a must to ensure workplace handling of social network usage, works towards a company’s social goal and provides an end benefit.
