Interesting data released from Cisco’s Visual Network Index on the state of WiFi bandwidth and it’s growth.  According to Cisco’s report, WiFi  usage is set to outpace wired connectivity by 2015.

The report does not come as a shock, given the massive iPad sales and the tablets that have followed since.

What’s interesting to note though is how  the tablet has changed not only how we work, but how mobile providers that provide bandwidth for your WiFi enabled tablets have paced their data facilities for growth.  The actual usage rates per customer are far surpassing what they had expected.  They’ve got a lot of catch up to do to ensure a sense of seamless service.
